Welcome

2009 has been a big year for both Pittsburgh and Fallout 3. While the former captured their sixth Super Bowl title, Fallout 3 was recently honored by GameSpy as the #1 Xbox 360 Game of All Time (So Far!). This month powers collide in Fallout 3's second DLC – The Pitt – which takes your Fallout 3 character to the post-apocalyptic remains of the city. The Pitt will be available on Xbox LIVE and Games for Windows LIVE on March 24th.

"It should also be noted that parts of the Pitt raise the graphical bar too; entering the steel foundry with its heat haze, molten steel and floating embers is a remarkable experience."

"So while Operation Anchorage felt every bit the away-from-Fallout-3 it set itself out to be, The Pitt feels like a natural extension of the main game. It's bloody good, right down to the details such as the occassional attempt by slaves to escape and getting viciously cut down by the guards to the extra Nuka-Cola bottles lying around, perfect for a certain challenge in the main game..."

"Bethesda is offering something more akin to the game's main quest with The Pitt."

"It's full of action, objectionable and interesting characters, and plenty of opportunities for exploration and further development of your character."

"Best of all, as someone who went to school just outside Pittsburgh, I was happy to see that the designers created the crumbling city to look just like its real-life counterpart... if it had been decimated by a nuclear holocaust, that is."

"I'm definitely looking forward to grabbing this DLC when it's release."

"The Pitt, the second bit of DLC, is more of the awesomeness you saw in the main release."
